Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all QENEX products and services, including domain registration, hosting, email, and the AI Design Studio (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to comply with this AUP.
1. Permitted Use
You may use the Services to:
- Host and operate lawful websites, applications, and business communications.
- Register and manage domain names for lawful purposes.
- Send and receive business email in compliance with applicable anti-spam laws (including the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003).
- Generate and deploy AI-designed web content for lawful commercial or personal use.
2. Prohibited Content
You must not use the Services to host, transmit, distribute, or facilitate any content or activity that:
- Is illegal — violates any applicable UK or international law, including laws relating to copyright, defamation, privacy, or financial services regulation.
- Is harmful — promotes, glorifies, or facilitates violence, terrorism, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or self-harm.
- Is fraudulent — involves phishing, identity theft, fraudulent financial schemes, or impersonation of individuals or organisations.
- Contains malware — distributes viruses, ransomware, spyware, trojans, or any other malicious code.
- Constitutes spam — sends unsolicited bulk commercial email or operates an open email relay.
- Violates intellectual property — infringes copyright, trademarks, patents, or other third-party intellectual property rights.
3. Network and Infrastructure Abuse
You must not:
- Conduct or facilitate denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks against any target.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to QENEX systems, other customers' resources, or any third-party infrastructure.
- Use the Services to scan, probe, or test the vulnerability of third-party systems without authorisation.
- Consume excessive bandwidth or compute resources in a manner that degrades service for other customers.
- Circumvent any rate-limiting, abuse-prevention, or access-control mechanisms QENEX applies.
4. Domain Registration Abuse
Domains registered through QENEX must not be used for:
- Cybersquatting or typosquatting targeting established brands or individuals.
- Parking pages that infringe trademarks or redirect to illegal content.
- Hosting command-and-control (C2) infrastructure for botnets or malware.
- WHOIS data falsification (providing inaccurate registrant information).
5. DMCA and Copyright Notices
QENEX responds to valid notices of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and its UK equivalents. To submit a takedown notice, send a complete DMCA notification to legal@qenex.ai. Include: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location; (c) your contact information; (d) a good-faith statement; and (e) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury.
6. Enforcement
QENEX reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access to the Services immediately upon discovery of a material AUP violation, without prior notice.
- Remove or disable access to content that violates this AUP.
- Report unlawful activity to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
- Pursue legal remedies for damages arising from AUP violations.
QENEX will use reasonable efforts to notify customers of actions taken under this AUP where legally permissible and operationally practicable.
7. Reporting Abuse
To report suspected abuse of the QENEX platform or Services, contact us at abuse@qenex.ai. Please include as much detail as possible, including URLs, timestamps, and any supporting evidence.
8. Changes to This Policy
QENEX may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to customers with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
